How Do We Package Slate Home Décor?

Protecting your products is very important to us.  Our founder spent more than 2 decades managing production of home décor and is consistently looking for ways to improve the packaging of products to reduce damages, reduce waste, and reduce storage space needed by our retail partners.

Surround the slate

The safest way we have found to ship slate signs is by individually wrapping each slate piece in a bubble bag, then surrounding the items with a Styrofoam pressed against the exterior cardboard box, and lastly using a strong cardboard box with no space between the cardboard and foam.

The polybags prevent chipping and abrasion during transit.  The Styrofoam prevents cracks from accidental drops in transit and heavy-duty cardboard provides protection in transit and shelf storage.
